MJ-Tech is expanding. The supplier of high-pressure fog systems is relocating. "We see that the awareness of climate control continues to grow and the demand for spray systems with it."
Now it still is a large, empty space where a lot of reconstruction is going on, but before summer there should be machine lines and office spaces ready for use. "We can put in additional production lines for manufacturing the nozzle links, through which the mist is dispersed," Ruud van Aperen says. "That way we take another part of the production into our own hands."
MJ-Tech manufactures high pressure fog systems. Especially among strawberry growers and flowers growers, the systems are popular. "You can see that the attention for the climate continues to grow. Because product quality is hugely important for the Dutch growers, fog systems are popular. You have an additional means of control for your cultivation."
MJ-Tech has been manufacturing high pressure fog systems for over thirty years. Two years ago, Ruud took over the business from his father. "At that time we already moved into larger premises, but we wanted to respond to growth in a conservative way. That also was a rental property and now this opportunity came along." The new property is located a stone’s throw away from the current location, at the New Donk in Etten-Leur. "Even the last production that still takes place in Wernhout, we can now realize over here. The current building was not big enough for that. So it was time for expansion."
