In helping further this goal, the company recently appointed Mr. Gregory Gawne as Senior Vice President, Business Development to grow new business opportunities horizontally across the company’s supply chain. In particular, AgMedica is developing a stand-alone facility in Chatham, Ontario dedicated to the propagation of cannabis, which the company believes will fill a significant void in the cannabis industry. Once fully completed, the state-of-the-art tissue culture facility will have the capacity to produce for AgMedica’s own cultivation needs as well as other third-party licensed cultivators around the world.
Most recently, as Vice President, Operations for AgMedica, Gregory gained a strong understanding of the industry. In his new role, Gregory will leverage this and his more than 35 years of sales strategy, business development and leadership experience with diversified industries across North America and Europe, to build and grow this highly promising segment of AgMedica’s business. Gregory has a strong track record for building high growth network developments, and a passion for break-throughs and industry firsts. Both he and the Company look forward to bringing exciting and innovative partnership solutions to the global cannabis industry.
