Radio waves used in the cannabis industry

An old technology has been applied to help correct a problem many cultivators have faced through the years and that's mold in marijuana.
To correct the problem a new machine called Apex, created by Ziel, is helping prevent cultivators from failing the test that measures the amount of mold and yeast in the flower.

The machine that uses radio frequency has been used in agriculture for the past 10 years, but for the past five, they have been using it for cannabis. Here in Nevada Hydro Tahoe is one of three companies to have the machine.

“As a cultivator and a business this has been a tremendous help for not only ours but we believe with the tolling model we can help other cultivators in the market place as well,” says Mark Bruno from Tahoe Hydro.
