ZA: South African farmers have high hopes for cannabis cultivation

Small farmers are hopeful that their venture into the burgeoning industry of cannabis production will reap rewards after the African Farmers Association (AFASA) recently held its first KZN Cannabis Workshop in PMB.

Chairperson of the organisation under uMgungundlovu District Mbongeni Skhakhane, said the main idea behind the workshop held at Cedara College of Agriculture was to develop agricultural skills in the sector and provide support to those wishing to venture into cannabis cultivation.
