Stuck to the wall, tomato and bell pepper suddenly became very expensive

“We can do that too,” people must have thought when they saw a banana taped to a wall as an art piece by a creative comedian. That is what Jelte van Kammen of Harvest House, Westland Peppers and Kwekerij Moors wanted to put to the test.

The question is whether they, like Maurizio Cattelan, will repeatedly earn $120,000 with it. The chance is probably greater that someone with a big appetite will pull the bell pepper or tomato off the wall and eat it, just like visual artist David Datuna did at an event in Miami where the 'work of art' could be seen.
