Cannabis trade shows postponed due to Coronavirus

As the number of cases of coronavirus keeps increasing across the globe, many cannabis trade shows have been cancelled to prevent a faster spread of the infection. Many countries have indeed advised to refrain from holding events where many people could gather, as these are the perfect places for the virus to easily spread.

Last week, CannaTech was one of the first shows that announced new dates, postponing the trade show in June when the climate will be warmer, thus putting a stop to this virus.

In addition to the CannaTech, other cannabis expos have been postponed, such as the SXSW, the Southern Hemp Expo, and the International Cannabis Business Conference.

Regardless of what you think about the spread of this virus and the public and media reaction to it, the World Health Organization is concerned that this might become a global pandemic.

To prevent being affected, do not touch your eyes and mouth, often wash your hands thoroughly, and avoid shaking hands. If you have symptoms, refrain from going to the hospital and call your country's emergency line, or your family doctor.
