How to get fast, accurate root zone moisture, temperature and EC data

A short video from Delta-T Devices explains how the WET Sensor enables growers to measure three vital soil and substrate properties: water content, pore water electrical conductivity (EC) and temperature.

The animated video covers the use of the sensor and its key benefits.

The WET Sensor is used by growers worldwide. It enables them to take hundreds of soil or substrate readings each day to guide irrigation and fertigation decisions. The data it supplies helps growers to maintain optimal growing conditions - boosting the yield and health of produce, whilst cutting costs, reducing water/fertilizer usage, and minimizing damage to the environment.

Readings are instantly displayed on the accompanying meter and can be downloaded to a PC - for subsequent analysis and archiving. The WET Sensor can also be buried permanently in growing media - for integration into smart precision irrigation control systems.

The WET Sensor has calibrations for soils, coir, peat and mineral wool, making it one of the most versatile and powerful management tools for growers.
