US (MA): Halifax-based grower wants to expand

Bud’s Goods hosted the virtual forum, President and CEO Alex Mazin says they would like to expand the use to include manufacturing and limited indoor growing at the 47-acre site.

“What we’re looking to do is use a portion of our building to use for product manufacturing. When I say product manufacturing, what I mean is converting the cannabis flower into cannabis oil to sell into the wholesale market,” said Mazin. “We find that opportunity to be enormous and immense here in Massachusetts. It’s the safest way for us to do everything with a farm of this size.”

“We would use sensor fencing across the whole perimeter, gates to enter, there would be cameras inside the facility covering every angle, except for the restrooms. Cameras on the outside with night vision, and failure notification systems,” said Mazin. “Security is at the forefront when we take design into account.”
