US (NV): Cannabis company to host 'Project Clean Slate' clinic in honor of National Expungement Week

The Source+ will recognize National Expungement Week by partnering with non-profit organizations, Nevada Legal Services (NLS), and Minorities for Medical Marijuana’s (M4MM) social justice program, Project Clean Slate, to host the annual expungement clinic. The clinic will take place at The Source+ Treehouse Community Room, located at 2550 S. Rainbow Blvd. #11 from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Thursday, Sept. 30. Cannabis charges in the state of Nevada are eligible for record sealing at the clinic currently.

Project Clean Slate will offer wrap-around services for those affected by past cannabis possession charges. In partnership, Nevada Legal Services will offer complimentary legal assistance from on-site lawyers prepared to walk guests through the expungement process. Both organizations will provide resources and educational presentations regarding the basics of Nevada’s criminal record sealing, including recently decriminalized cannabis convictions.

The Source+ advocates for accessibility to cannabis, with an emphasis on health and wellness benefits, and always provides 10% off purchases for veterans and senior citizens. Offered at its five locations in Nevada are more than 40 different strains of cannabis, as well as a variety of concentrates, edibles, and related medical cannabis products.
