Ledestar:

More than 100 full spectrum designs for plants in wide range of wavelengths

With the increase of extreme climate events and the lack of soil resources, traditional soil cultivation is facing increasing challenges, and modern soilless cultivation is rapidly emerging.

"One of the most popular methods of cultivation is the vertical farm, which is being developed in different regions of the world. In addition, demand for healthy foods is increasing as customers become more health conscious and more financially capable. Indoor-grown crops, which provide excellent product traceability, are also gaining popularity with consumers," says Tony Chen, Sales manager at Ledestar.

According to Tony, the core of indoor production is to meet the needs of rapid plant growth. Light is the only source of environmental signals and photosynthetic energy and is the environmental factor that must be controlled for the development of plants and quality.

"A quality horticultural lighting source is critical to the success of indoor growing. Through continuous research and exploration, we are committed to providing high-quality and efficient indoor growing lighting solutions to help growers improve their growing efficiency. With industry-leading PPE, our solutions minimize operating costs by reducing energy consumption. High light utilization promotes plant growth and significantly extends shelf life. Secondly, Ledestar's proven anti-sulfur technology improves the reliability of LEDs in harsh conditions," he adds.

Plants respond to the entire spectrum, including red, green, and blue wavelengths suitable for growth. Among them, blue light not only affects photomorphogenesis, i.e., plant growth patterns in response to the spectrum, but also promotes the production of secondary metabolites such as phenols or flavonols.

Photomorphogenesis is light-mediated growth, i.e., plant growth patterns responding to the spectrum. Currently, Ledestar has more than 100 full spectra for plants in a broader range of wavelengths for better photosynthesis, including the newly released 351H full-spectrum ceramic flip-flop series in 2022, using a eutectic process, with high reliability and ultra-high efficiency, @ 350mA lighting luminous efficacy ≧ 200Lm / W, plant lighting PPE efficiency value of 2.95umol / J.
