Vantage Builders announced that Andy Roy has been promoted to Project Executive, and Joe Carreiro has joined the firm also as Project Executive.
As Project Executives, Mr. Roy and Mr. Carreiro are responsible for the overall direction, completion, and financial outcome for Vantage Builders’ projects. They serve as the key point of contact for clients, architects, and subcontractors and directly supervise the firm’s Project Managers, Project Engineers, and Superintendents.
Mr. Roy joined Vantage Builders as a Project Manager in 2016 and has 23 years of experience in the construction industry. During his tenure at the firm, he has worked on projects in the cannabis, corporate, industrial, and health and science sectors. He has successfully completed many of the firm’s most complex projects, including a 100,000-square-foot cannabis cultivation and dispensary facility for GreenCare Collective; the 60,000-square-foot renovation of 343 Winter Street in Waltham for Hobbs Brook Real Estate; multiple projects for MilliporeSigma, including the buildout of a new production area for high-purity products; and a 41,000-square-foot renovation and conversion project for Vapotherm.
“Andy has become a tremendous asset to Vantage Builders and our clients, with a keen ability to manage project teams, consistently keep projects on schedule and efficiently handle the innumerable details of a complex construction project,” said Ed Silva, Principal of Vantage Builders. “Joe has already displayed a knack for working closely with each client to fully understand the business reason for their project. He is a welcome addition to our team.”
Mr. Carreiro brings more than 35 years of construction experience to his Vantage Builders projects and has already begun working with two of the firm’s long-term clients, National Grid and Hobbs Brook Real Estate. Prior to joining the Vantage, he was a project executive with Rubicon Builders and held operations roles with Pariseault Builders and S&H Construction. He has successfully completed projects in a wide range of sectors, including corporate, healthcare/hospitals, retail, and life science, and he also has experience in residential construction. Mr. Carreiro graduated from Bermuda College and holds a construction supervisor license with the Commonwealth of Massachusetts and a 30-hour OSHA certification.
