"These victories will bring over 70,000 jobs to Maryland and Missouri"

Following the victories for cannabis in both Maryland and Missouri, CannabizTeam Founder and CEO Liesl Bernard thinks this will bring more than 70K jobs and the potential for nearly a billion dollars in revenue to Maryland and Missouri.

“This week’s voting victories for the cannabis industry showcase the growing acceptance of the business as a legitimate green job creator across the country. Cannabis has proven to be one of the most resilient industries for job creation in the last 50 years. Cannabis jobs are real green jobs and when you see states like Missouri and Maryland recognize the power of this industry, it’s a testament to that power as a job creator. Based on the population of each state and the projected size of the adult use markets, we expect to see more than 70k new cannabis jobs in Missouri and Maryland (approximately 35K per state) over the next few years with each of these markets having the potential to generate up to a billion dollars a year in annual cannabis sales,” Liesl says.
