Cresco Labs' move to acquire Columbia Care is still up in the air, as the companies failed to complete the divestiture necessary for the transaction.
The merger has been postponed a couple of times already, with the first delay going to March 2023 and the second to June 30, 2023.
"At this stage, Cresco and Columbia Care are working amicably with respect to the next steps in relation to the transaction and will provide further updates in the near future," the company said in a press release.
Back in March 2022, Cresco Labs announced its intention to acquire Columbia Care in an all-stock transaction valued at approximately $2 billion.
