New adhesive trap with double-hook system allows quick set up

"Every second counts when you have hectares to cover"

In any sector, time is money. This is also true in agriculture. That's why the new color traps now being marketed by Hydroponic Systems are a welcome relief for many growers. "Their innovative and exclusive double hook, allows for ultra-fast installation", the team explains. "They also feature the largest adhesive surface on the market, at 91%, and high-quality, durable materials for a longer lifespan: they won't bend or fall off during phytosanitary treatments."

Express installation: double hook and massive time savings
Every second counts when you have hectares to cover. These traps incorporate a double-hook system that allows them to be set up quickly and easily. "Real-life tests have shown that it takes 6 minutes less for every 10 traps", the team says.

And in terms of scale production? "On a typical hectare, this represents a saving of 1,123 minutes (more than 18 hours) compared to conventional traps. This freed-up time can be invested in other key tasks, or simply represent savings for the farmer."

Maximum and durable adhesive surface
Another key differentiator is its high micron content, the quality of the material, and the adhesive. "First, the material has been specially treated to facilitate adhesive absorption, ensuring it doesn't wear down or lose effectiveness over time. While other traps can lose their stickiness or dry out, this new double-hook model maintains its performance for longer."

"Furthermore, with an adhesive surface that reaches the highest values available on the market (91%), these traps also offer superior effectiveness in capturing flying pests such as thrips, whiteflies, and aphids. Available in a variety of colors, their capture capacity is maximized."

Resistance to deformation and thermal variations
Another common weakness of many traps is that, under high temperatures or in humid environments, they deform, curl, or lose their flatness, reducing their effectiveness. Hydroponic Systems' new traps are made with high-quality materials that do not deform under extreme conditions, neither the rolls nor the individual traps. Thus, effectiveness is not compromised during the crop cycle.

Additionally, for growers who prefer to use adhesive rolls instead of traps, Hydroponic Systems sells rolls made of high-micron polypropylene with the same treatment that prevents deformation or curling, while maintaining capture capacity for longer.
