A Delta-based cannabis grower announced its newest facility, located in Hope, B.C., has received its Health Canada license to cultivate, process and store cannabis. Calling the 47,500-square-foot indoor facility Cascadia, Rubicon Organics Inc. says the facility will provide an additional 4,500 kilograms of production capacity, bringing the company's total annual capacity to 15,500 kilograms of premium cannabis.
Rubicon Organics also has an existing 125,000-square-foot greenhouse in East Ladner, which the company has now named Pacifica. Operations at the Cascadia facility are now underway and the company says it expects first revenue from the facility in the first half of 2026.
Rubicon Organics earlier this year announced its plan to acquire the indoor production facility in Hope, the former Canna Farms facility from MediPharm Labs.
The $4.5 million deal would see Rubicon Organics agree to acquire the assets, including certain equipment, the land and the building.
