US (OH): Cultivator, dispensary owner welcomes stricter hemp regulations

Gov. Mike DeWine signed Senate Bill 56 in December, restricting hemp regulations and medical and recreational cannabis use passed by Ohio voters in 2023.

It was welcomed news by officials at Grow Ohio, a cultivator, processor and dispensary owner in the East Fultonham area.

The bill requires hemp products, like THC-imbued beverages or gummies at everyday retailers, with more than 0.4 milligrams per container only be sold in licensed marijuana dispensaries.
