Messe Dortmund presents the all-new VertiFarm exhibition
VertiFarm, a new trade show by Messe Dortmund, is a new and improved exhibition that reflects the entire market and supply structure of vertical farming. The event focuses on networking, interaction and knowledge transfer in vertical farming. It also highlights the latest developments in cultivation of alternative crops, sustainable fish, insect and plant recirculation systems, CBD and herb production equipment, as well as medicinal plants.
Messe Dortmund and the Association for Vertical Farming (AVF) are responding to the growing market globally with this new VertiFarm trade show. Together, they’re giving tomorrow's agriculture model an important B2B platform whose audience includes decision-makers at home and abroad. The trade show will take place on 27 – 29 September 2022 in the Messe Dortmund, Germany.
Sabine Loos, Managing Director of the Westfalenhallen group of companies said, “As a trade show venue in Germany's Ruhr conurbation located at the heart of Europe, we have traditionally had a close affinity to such matters. Collaborating parties
With the experience gained from its other formats, Westfalenhallen is also working with the AVF on developing a specific framework and conference program. “It is crucial to sensitize politicians to new developments, and to bring together all decision-makers in business, industry, the supply chain and the scientific community,” emphasized Sabine.
AVF acts as a key player at this interface. Christine Zimmermann-Loessl, Chief Executive of the Association for Vertical Farming affirmed, “In Dortmund, we have the opportunity to establish VertiFarm not just in the populous state of North-Rhine Westphalia, but right in the very center of Europe. With its experience in national and international trade shows, Messe Dortmund is an ideal partner for AVF.”
