Territory: USA states where cannabis for medical and scientific use has been legalized

This is a high-income opportunity for an independent sales representative or small representative group. A Canadian-based, vertically integrated, global medical cannabis company is seeking to establish a long-term, mutually rewarding relationship with uber-professional sales professionals with experience in the pharma or medical supply fields.

Requirements include a demonstrated track record in business development and sales, and an established network of contacts within the medical/medical supply and distribution sectors. Knowledge of/experience in medical cannabis would be an asset.

This is a high-potential, 100% commisson-based role with a generous structure that both generously rewards new business and includes  commission.

In anticipation of the end of prohibition at the federal level in 2022, JMCC’s Sales & Business Development Representative(s) will be responsible for identifying priority markets (in states that have legalized cannabis for medical use) and business opportunities for, and sales of, JMCC Group’s full offering of medical cannabis product and services including:

  • GMP and organically certified, dried cannabis flower available from a variety of cultivars grown in Jamaica to treat a range of medical conditions (generally in contracted volume orders of 500+ pounds);
  • Cannabis extracts (from winterized cannabis oil through to distillates and isolates) also produced from a variety of cultivars organically grown in Jamaica produced in JMCC’s GMP-certified facilities;
  • A line of unique JMCC Scientific products, formulated to help treat a variety of conditions including epilepsy, pain and anxiety;
  • JMCC Distribution’s global medical cannabis logistics and distribution services, which state-of-the-art distribution centres in Jamaica, the EU and Australia, for onward product supply to more than 40 countries worldwide that have legalized cannabis for medical use;
  • JMCC’s fully integrated medical cannabis outsourcing solution, encompassing custom propagation, cultivation, field and laboratory testing, processing, manufacturing, packaging, warehousing and global distribution – with all operations driven by stringent quality assurance programs and protected by comprehensive, multi-level security.


Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in business or science,
  • Minimum of five years of experience in pharmaceutical or medical supply sales,
  • Stong marketing research and analytical skills,
  • Strong communication, presentation, and negotiation skills,
  • Proven experience in successful business development, customer acquisition and service, and account management.

JMCC Sales Support Structure:

  • In-depth orientation to the use of cannabis as medicine, including key research findings, an overview of the global medical cannabis market, laws and regulations, key market segments and major sales opportunities;
  • A comprehensive introduction to JMCC Group, its operations, products and services, key personnel, etc.
  • Initital training and ongoing support in producing collateral and online sales tools for U.S. markets, proposals and presentations, identifying key industry events;
  • Participation at regular sales & marketing update meetings with JMCC Global Sales and other teams re new products, sales supports, market developments and trends
  • Ongoing support and information on new research in identified treatment areas, competitors, market trends and opportunities;
