A Hopkinton company is planning to cultivate marijuana in a 12,000-15,000 square foot industrial greenhouse at a 12-acre site in South Middleboro, Massachusetts.
The project is the fourth involving medical marijuana to be presented to the town. The first three, involving proposed dispensaries, have received the town's support or an indication of non-opposition.
Tim McNamara, COO and security officer for the Holistic Health Group, said in an article on SouthCoastToday.com, that a private landowner who is involved with his organization will purchase the land if the organization is successful in being permitted by DPH. The site is on Rte. 28 near Exit 3 of Rte. I-495. McNamara said the frontage would be developed for commercial business while the marijuana would be cultivated in a 12,000-15,000 square foot industrial greenhouse at the rear of the site.
