Last week, the 100th Stefix 135 cloth wiper was delivered by Steenks. Hünnekens, supplier of garden, park, and agricultural machines, was the lucky recipient.
The Stefix is a machine especially developed by Steenks to meet a client's wish, because there was no machine yet to effectively wipe the ground cover. "Most growers work with brooms and leaf blowers, making it a labor intensive job, and the blown-up dust settles on the beautiful crops next to it a moment later."
So they developed a machine which does not damage the cloth, does not leave ditches, and is equipped with a suction function which also sucks the fine dust in a dust filter. "It turned out to be a great success, because the machine is known all over the world now. There are even various suppliers all over the world who wanted to incorporate the machine in their assortment, such as Hünnekens from Straelen, Germany."
