CAN (BC): Howeling based greenhouse has almost completed switch to cannabis

The large-scale Houweling greenhouse in East Ladner is almost finished making the switch to cannabis.

In a news release this week, AgraFlora Organics International Inc. stated the inaugural harvest at the complex on 64th Street is scheduled for the first quarter of 2020.

Late last year, the company announced its partnership with Houweling Nurseries that will see the conversion of the 2.2-million-square-foot greenhouse for cannabis production, a joint venture called Propagation Services Canada.

The 20-hectare (49-acre) facility on 64th will be the second largest cannabis greenhouse facility in Canada among those that are currently built.
