US-based growing media manufacturer and supplier Riococo has recently expanded its operations in Europe. "The demand for our products is growing in Europe and with the right partners we decided to expand our operations in Switzerland, Germany and Slovakia", Shan Halamba with Riococo says. Therefore an agreement was signed between Riococo and Villanova Global AG for exclusive distribution of Riococo brand substrate products.
Villanova Global AG is based in Switzerland and is a global distributor of biostimulants, seaweed extract, specialty fertilizers and grow bag substrates for protected and enhanced innovative agriculture since 2016.
The growing demand is not limited to just Europe. "The demand has increased in Mexico, and many other countries worldwide", says Shan. With the recent escalation in demand in Mexico, Riococo has appointed Royal Brinkman México S de RL de CV as their distributor covering much of the country.
Riococo currently has clients in 55 countries, spread over all 6 continents. "We work closely with our clients and distributors to help each one to achieve and maximize production while reducing the inputs", Shan explains.
The company is to exhibit at the GreenTech in Amsterdam for the third time, in booth 08.136. "This year we'll not just be showcasing our clean and controllable fresh produce growing media products for strawberries, vegetable crops, microgreens and flowers, but also our fully organic growing media line for Medical Cannabis."
