US (UT): Selection process coming to cultivate MMJ in Utah

Those wishing to cultivate medical cannabis in Utah had until Monday at the close of the business day to submit a request for proposal (RFP) to the Utah Department of Agriculture and Food (UDAF).

The RFPs for medical cannabis cultivator licenses are now being sent to the UDAF.

There, the RFPs will be reviewed for verification and background checks as the selection process for medical cannabis cultivators in Utah begins.

It's unclear the exact timeline for the selection process, depending on the time needed to review all submitted applications.

UDAF did say the selection will likely happen during the second-half of July 2019, when a press conference will be held to announce the results.
