US (CA): High-end cannabis cultivator goes green

Weed might be green, but growing cannabis isn't always environmentally friendly. Outdoor farming impacts rivers and streams and indoor greenhouses consume significant amounts of energy. Sedlin says the solar-power generation has reduced the company's overall electrical consumption by 62 percent.
