US (CA): A tour of a cannabis farm in the heart of the Emerald Triangle

Huckleberry Hill Farms, Johnny Casali’s under 5000-foot cannabis garden in Southern Humboldt is, in many ways, a flower-filled oasis of calm in an industry churning with the stress of trying to adapt to the changing world of legal cannabis. That might be why the Department of Fish and Wildlife chose to feature it and Casali in this recent video.

Casali, a second-generation cannabis farmer, cultivates on the same land his parents grew clandestinely when he was young. He spent time in prison for growing and his mother died while he was incarcerated.

Part of how his farm projects such serenity is hard work. Casali toils seemingly tirelessly to both grow and promote his flowers.
