Apeks Supercritical has been acquired by Rough Brothers (RBI). The move allows Apeks to join forces with RBI and other companies to form a partnership that furthers its ability to offer the best in extraction technologies to the global cannabis industry.
According to the company, While Apeks Supercritical will continue to operate daily as an independent division of RBI, "The relationship was carefully chosen to ensure the standards Apeks customers have come to know for quality engineering, fabrication and service remain in place."
“This investment allows us to plan for the future, bringing new technologies and a more robust suite of services to our customers and partners throughout the world,” said Andy Joseph, Apeks Supercritical General Manager.
"As a result, a new dynamic, vertically integrated growing and processing solution for the booming cannabis industry has been formed. Apeks Supercritical joins RBI and previously acquired Colorado-based greenhouse solutions company, Nexus, in providing this innovative holistic approach and expertise to the cultivating and processing market."
The end result will be a suite of fully customized growing and processing solutions to Apeks' customers--from designing and developing growing and processing facilities to manufacturing, building and integrating all the essential processes to produce the most diverse line of products.
“Over the past decade, our team has worked incredibly hard to build Apeks into a global leader for botanical extraction. In order to take the next step in our growth we determined it was in the best interest of our customers, stakeholders and employees to find a partner that would help maximize our growth and impact. We are confident that RBI is the right partner,” added Joseph.
