IT: One of the three Aurora's cannabis supply lot cancelled by Minister of Health

Back in July, Aurora was selected by the Italian government as the sole winner of the cannabis tender. Aurora was supposed to supply the Italian market with three lots. In a press release, Aurora said that the Italian market is "one of the most strictly regulated cannabis market in the world." And indeed, last week the Italian Health Minister showed what that strictness was all about.

As MjBizDaily reports, one of those three lots was cancelled as the Minister of Health said that this was not compliant with EU-GMP standards. This third lot was supposed to be of 40 kg of high-CBD cannabis. The decision was justified by the Stabilitmento Chimico Farmaceutico di Firenze (SCFF) that stated that the third lot was not necessary. On top of that, on 31st October, the Minister of Health said that the reason behind that was that 'stability studies to define the shelf life of the products were not carried out'.
