CAN (ON): Fort Erie based facility receives approval for additional rooms

Heritage Cannabis Holdings' subsidiary and Licensed Holder, CannaCure Corporation, has received amendment licensing approval in accordance with Health Canada’s Cannabis Act and Regulations for the expansion of three additional rooms at its facility in Fort Erie, Ontario.

"The newly approved rooms will be used for operating extraction machines, and various downstream equipment related to extraction and the production of formulated cannabis oil," the team with the company explains. "This expanded space will allow CannaCure to complete the installation of two new Vitalis Q90 extraction systems which were delivered in the summer. The Company will now have a total of six extraction systems in Canada, four located in Fort Erie, Ontario and two located at Voyage Cannabis Corp. (“Voyage”), its other Licenced Facility based in Falkland, British Columbia."

“We are extremely pleased to be able to bring these rooms online and expand our extraction capabilities at CannaCure.” says Clint Sharples, CEO of Heritage “This additional capacity will be required as we look to expand our product and service offerings in 2020.”

The Company estimates that the new extraction systems will be brought online early in the new year after it receives manufacturer certification.
