A local medical marijuana patient lobbying state leaders to address a prolonged pot shortage in the state of Illinois.
Experts have said there's not necessarily a shortage of cannabis itself, but a shortage of specific strains, which can make it more difficult for patients to get the specific product they're used to.
"What I'll be going to Springfield tomorrow for is to try to get the governor to take executive action which i believe by law he can. Since its already law we need that cultivation license for ISP 15 opened up," home grower David Kurfman said.
The man you just heard from is heading to Springfield tomorrow to personally ask lawmakers to open the final cultivation center.
