CAN (BC): Cannabis waste company to expand into protective gear

A Delta-based company which deals with cannabis waste is getting into the personal protective equipment business.

Micron Waste Technologies Inc. announced that it has completed the acquisition Covid Technologies, a Vancouver company which reportedly produces such items as masks and protective garments.

Having already developed an innovate system to convert food waste into clean water and compact biosolids using an aerobic process, Micron, located in Tilbury, is also doing the same for cannabis waste, a system called the Cannavore.

The cannabis waste digester, an industrial-grade organic waste processor, pulverizes and renders organic waste in combination with a proprietary blend of microbes and enzymes designed and developed by Micron.
