US (IL): In Grown Farms looks to add more than 90 jobs in Stephenson County

In Grown Farms is hosting a job fair from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Wednesday at Freeport Public Library to find candidates to fill 24 full-time positions and 68 part-time jobs at the expanding facility east of Freeport.

"Our operation is growing quickly in Freeport and we are excited to offer new opportunities to work in the area,” said Charles Amadin, In Grown Farms general manager. “Our team is great to work, with and the organization has created many advancement pathways that allow for increased wages while working in the company.”

In Grown Farms is a medical and adult-use cannabis cultivation facility licensed by the state of Illinois. It was established in Freeport in 2015 as a 3,000-square-foot facility exclusively cultivating medical cannabis. It has grown to a premier 80,000-square-foot cultivation facility that crafts premium cannabis for patients and customers in both the medical and recreational markets.

The company is part of Acreage Holdings, a public company holding a diverse portfolio of cannabis cultivation, processing and dispensing operations in the United States.
