Toronto based CO2 GRO provides an update on the three-month Mexico Ag Tech Program that Grow was selected to participate in announced on January 7, 2021.
The first half of the Program was a series of meetings with experts on the Mexico agricultural market, trade, customs, distribution and other relevant topics to doing business in Mexico. The second half of this comprehensive program supporting selected Canadian ag-tech companies in Mexico is focused on three weeks of one-on-one virtual
meetings with protected ag growers and associations, distributors and potential partners that asked for meetings with GROW. The meetings will take place over the balance of March and early April
Grow 's VP Sales & Strategic Alliances, Aaron Archibald stated, “The Canadian Government Ag Tech Program is accelerating our knowledge of and connections in Mexico. We are very impressed with the quality and extent of support provided by the Canadian government to Grow. At approximately 4 billion sq. ft., the Mexican protected ag market is much larger than the combined US and Canadian markets and is a key focus for Grow's business development activities going forward. Our interim yield improvement success from the Hidroexpo El Salvador pepper feasibility announced January 14, 2021 has also opened doors to other nearby Central and South American growers who have approached us.”
