"The atmosphere hasn’t changed at all"

Update on GreenTech day #3

Today is the last day of GreenTech. Yet, the atmosphere hasn’t changed at all. Even though there are fewer visitors compared to previous days, people are still smiling all around. The morning has started a little slow, but as we get into the afternoon, you could see more people coming in. “We are really happy with this edition,” says Janne Makinen with GrowLightEngine. “We are a new company, and the smaller show this year paid off in our favor, as it was easier to find us. Indeed, it has been very busy here.”

“We are happy to be back,” says Niek Abbingh with Cannabis-drying.com. “There aren’t as many visitors as in the previous editions, but the quality of people visiting is much better.”

“We expected it to be slower, but once we got here it was going well, and there actually were a lot of people,” says Joel Fuzat with ALPS. “On the first day, we arrived, and it was nice to connect with friends and people of the industry again. This is extremely important in this industry as we have to appreciate others as people, and this is what has been missing in the past period.”

“A pro and a con of this edition are that there are few machines exposed,” says Jean-Pierre Coene with Urban Crop Solutions. “Since there aren’t many machines, visitors are incentivized to approach us and start conversations.”

“I do miss the large-scale setup, but the quality of the visitors is very high. At the end of the day, we are indeed happy to be back,” says Reineer Donkersloot with Horticulture EMEA.
