3C-REN and the Resource Innovation Institute (RII) are hosting a free educational webinar for indoor cannabis cultivators operating in the Central Coast California region on February 3, 2022 at 1:30 p.m. PST to help hobby and commercial growers with lighting and HVAC, the two major cost drivers for indoor gardens.
The event, titled “Indoor Optimization - HVAC & Lighting Best Practices,” is part of RII’s Efficient Yields Tri-County education program, offered with support from 3C-REN and the counties of San Luis Obispo, Ventura and Santa Barbara. The event will feature expert advice from industry thought-leaders, including: RII Technical Director Gretchen Schimelpfenig, Dario Boyce (Anderson Porter Design), Corinne Wilder (Fluence), and Neda Vaseghi (MicroClimates). They will dish on topics such as:
- Best practices for advanced controls and automation for indoor cultivation
- California’s Energy Code Title 24, Part 6
- Indoor lighting controls and automation best practices
- Avoiding microclimates to maximize plant health
