"Previously, we were watering straight from our system out to the field. Now, we have decided to adjust the system to make it even more efficient for us, with separate batch tanks for each individual room," says Dan, Head of Cultivation at Bay View Farms in California. In a recent video, viewers get a tour of their facility, where they harvest every two weeks.

The facilty can hold 5400 clones at a time, of which they are currently using about half the space. "We have two vegetation rooms, consisting of 1820 plants each, and four bloom rooms, consisting of 1680 plants each. We will be increasing our production, however, moving to 1920 per bloom room. We are also working with a perpetual cycle, because of which we can harvest every two weeks."
And now that their new watering system is about to be up and running, things will become much more efficient. "Currently, if I have rooms that are at multiple ECs, we have to flush it down the drain before it goes to the next valve. As a result, we are wasting product and time. The plants want to be fed on a schedule, making things complicated. Our newly, personalized system ensures that we can fully automate our watering system."
