LED lighting sustains growth in industrial hemp

According to Canopy Growth's calculations, the global industrial hemp market size exceeds 300 billion U.S. dollars. In 2020, the legal marijuana market in the United States reached nearly 18 billion U.S. dollars (the world's largest market). By 2030, the market space is expected to reach 100 billion U.S. dollars. Indoor cultivation is the mainstream of cannabis cultivation in the United States, driving strong growth in the field of plant lighting. Currently, 37 states in the United States have legalized medical marijuana, and 18 states have legalized recreational marijuana. According to William of Laite E-commerce, "With legislation to grow, consume and trade cannabis in the U.S. and Canada, and the growing number of commercial growers eligible to grow cannabis indoors, the market for LED lighting is becoming more and more popular. The demand is stronger and stronger. LED grow lights have great advantages in meeting the lighting needs of cannabis plants, neither generating excessive heat nor requiring a cooling system to maintain a safe and reliable lamp temperature, and are gradually replacing high-pressure sodium (HPS) and Metal Halide (M.H.) lighting fixtures."

"From a technical point of view, our brand EliteGrow focuses on the export of LED indoor plant lighting equipment, providing high-efficiency and low-cost products for most indoor growers who need to convert from traditional light sources (such as HID, CMH, HPS, etc.) to new LED lighting products to achieve healthier growth and higher yields," says William, head of Sales. "Our work always starts with customer needs. We find the final solution by listening, understanding, and analyzing information. We are constantly integrating internal and external resources, performing calculations, drawing, and sometimes building prototypes to assess whether they meet customer requirements. Once a concept or prototype is approved, we start producing lighting products, whether that be special LED chips, LED kits, or complete lighting fixtures."

"We provide a point-to-point service. After the customer confirms the product model and order, we will keep in touch and inform the expected delivery time. Our current LED solution yields an average of 2.2 g/W, which is a huge leap from HPS yields. Customers are very satisfied with our solutions."
