"This is exactly what gets me overly excited when I’m hunting through batches of seeds"

Luma California is a full sun licensed cannabis farm. They specialize in fresh frozen resin. Their cannabis is always grown using living soil principles, with natural and organic inputs and approaches, with an intense focus on soil food web microbiology. The company puts a lot of effort into hunting genetics and finding amazing flavors that will stand out in the market.

"Luma project is a mystery strain that was gifted to the company which is hunting through the seeds. As you know, it's always kind of risky," said Enzo Wall, director of cultivation at Luma.

"A good thing for plants is the weather they have. They are in the Petaluma gap, and there is a lot of fog, wind, and a lot of moisture," the cultivator added.  The Gap, which is famous for its cooler coastal climate, consists of ocean breeze and cooling fog funneling through the Petaluma hills. This marine layer protects resin from extreme heat during late flowering as the trichome ripens. Soils are packed with an abundance of micronutrients. "The combination of all these factors creates a truly unique, complex, terroir-nuanced flavor profile that sets the Gap apart from other places where cannabis is grown," he remarks.

This year, they got new seeds at Luma Farms. "We are so happy having some OG kush plants. So it's nice to have genetics that takes you back to the time when you first started to smoke. This is exactly what gets me overly excited when I'm hunting through batches of seeds," he added.

"We have genetics for every taste,  with a piney smell, lemony, and orange citrus and dough smell emitting extremely fragrant, and gassy plume. We have sorts that bring people nostalgic smells. This is the kind of thing that at Luma farms we are looking for," Enzo said.
