Desert Aire welcomed Chip Seidel as CEA Brand Manager. In this newly created role, Seidel will coordinate all of the company's activities in the controlled environment agriculture market. This will include sales, marketing, after-sales support, and new product development.
Adding a CEA Brand Manager allows Desert Aire to further penetrate the emerging CEA market by ensuring the company continues to bring innovations to our existing products and future products being marketed directly to the cultivator and engineers in this expanding market. The correct solution to maintaining the perfect growing environment for the plants is very complicated, and Chip will assist in creating literature, social media, and technical discussions to communicate the product's capability in meeting the needs of the grower.
Seidel's background includes sales and marketing management, new product development, strategic planning, channel management, and sales strategy management. Seidel earned an MBA in Strategic Marketing/Entrepreneurial Management from the University of Wisconsin-Madison. Seidel brings 12 years of experience in the HVAC industry with a particular focus on specialized dehumidification and indoor commercial agriculture.
"Bringing on Chip to the Desert Aire team further fortifies Desert Aire's commitment to producing and applying industry-leading equipment with superior dehumidification technology for indoor controlled environment agriculture to improve its CEA portfolio," stated Keith Coursin, President of Desert Aire.
"We have continued to add to our team to understand and pursue knowledge in understanding CEA's unique applications," explained Paul Stewart, Vice President of Sales.
"I am excited to join a team that is fully dedicated to understanding the challenges of indoor cultivation and positioned to innovate to find smart solutions. In a space crowded with Me-Too products and products that were originally designed for other applications, Desert Aire stands out as the technical leader by continually introducing environmental control solutions that are fully optimized for the specialized needs of indoor agriculture."
