Just a day after rapper Wiz Khalifa came here to promote his medical cannabis brand, the company backing him announced layoffs. Trulieve says it is laying off workers at its McKeesport growing facility.
A Trulieve spokesperson says the company is temporarily reducing production due to greater efficiencies throughout their operations.
Trulieve is offering severance pay to employees who were not able to move to other positions.
The company would not say how many employees are affected.
