Cannabis dispensaries will be opening in some locations around Mississippi next week. When they do, Mockingbird Cannabis will be delivering a product that has been grown and cultivated from its indoor facility just outside the city limits of Clinton in Hinds County.
The facility, which formerly housed the Mississippi Department of Revenue, is 163,000 square feet with four pods of 16 cultivation rooms and room to grow, based on demand as the medical marijuana business matures in the years to come.
According to co-founder Marcy Croft, Mockingbird Cannabis is the largest cannabis-growing facility in Mississippi.
The facility is, currently, producing 34 varieties of cannabis with a multitude of products, ranging from cremes to beverages, bath bombs, gummies, and much more. There are processing labs, a kitchen, packaging areas, and clean rooms for the 50-plus employees.
