Stolze has moved to its new headquarters, located at Honderdland 781 in Maasdijk. The construction took 18 months to complete and enables the company to grow further, connect and increase sustainability. The company is proud and excited to provide customers with high-quality products and an excellent service level from its new location.
At the end of last year, Stolze swapped its headquarters on the Bandijkweg in Maasdijk for a new building that matches its international ambitions. All departments are now housed in a single 13.000m2 building. Geert van Veen has been managing director at Stolze since September 2022. He talks about the excellent progress made since the departments were all brought together under one roof: "It's resulted in more unity and a more efficient production process, which enables us to provide our customers with an optimal level of service. In addition, we are able to proudly welcome our business partners and associates and show them our professional production units. This creates confidence and trust."
The three production departments - panel construction, unit construction, and cable assembly - have been re-built, explains procurement manager Roel Gruwel. Roel was responsible for communicating Stolze's building requirements to their construction partners. This led to partial automation of the warehouse and fully optimized logistics routes. Roel: "It means we now provide a higher product quality and an improved service level."
Investing in sustainability
Sustainability is an important part of Stolze's vision. The company has invested in a sustainable, future-proof building. The new facility is energy efficient, self-learning, and uses, among other things, solar energy and buffers. This involves storing surplus solar energy from the previous weekend for use during the following week.
Growth and connection
Employing more than 180 people, the new Stolze headquarters allows the company to further improve employee welfare. It offers a healthy working environment, ergonomic workplaces, optimal meeting facilities, a brand new sports facility and a large canteen where employees can meet up. "To take this fantastic new step forwards with the team is really special, and we hope the new headquarters will allow us to attract future colleagues.
