US (ME): Oxford approves three cannabis applications

Oxford selectmen recently approved the license applications for two renewing cannabis operations and one start-up.

The select board voted to approve the licenses for adult-use cannabis retailer Oxford Provisions, LLC, and medical cannabis grower Lance Persson who operates Bog Brook Botanicals, LLC. A new business, Renewal Gardens, LLC, also had a license application for an adult-use cultivation facility.

In other business, Code Enforcement Officer Kingston Brown reported that Oxford’s tighter property maintenance ordinance is proving successful.

“We’re making lots of headway” on problem properties, Kingston told selectmen. “Many owners are taking care of issues themselves. The ordinance is working.”
