Missourians voted to legalize recreational, adult-use cannabis in November. That constitutional amendment also established a framework for cannabis "microbusinesses" — business licenses intended to allow more "everyday folks" to participate in the state's growing cannabis industry.
"Right now, the way I see it is these microbusinesses are effectively small businesses that are designed to allow particular entities and individuals to own and operate them," Missouri's Division of Cannabis Regulation Director Amy Moore said.
