Over 100 people were welcomed last week into the new premises of Greenlux Lighting Solutions in Helsinki, Finland. The visitors were shown the in-house automated production line and the bio chamber, where experiments will take place for the Valoya horticultural lighting solutions.
In 2022, Valoya officially merged with Finnish LED developer Greenlux Finland, and the opening of the new premises marks the further integration of both companies and emphasizes the importance of research for the entity as a whole.
During the event, the team took the visitors on a tour and showcased the in-house automated production line and the bio chamber, where the esteemed plant specialists diligently conducted trials with tomatoes and lettuce. "Valoya has always been driven by research, bringing growers the best potential light solutions. The company has conducted hundreds of trials and has a portfolio with over 100 patents in horticultural lighting and systems and different spectra options for greenhouses, vegetables, and leafy greens", said Kari Kylä-Kaila, COO of Greenlux, earlier.
"We are proud of our commitment to innovation and research and were delighted to share this aspect of our work with you," CEO Mikael Broman says. "Furthermore, introducing our product portfolio from our esteemed brands allowed us to showcase our diverse offerings carefully curated for our valued customers. This presentation gave a comprehensive understanding of our products and the unique choices available."
