Fluence becomes newest member of the Legal Cannabis Coalition

The Legal Cannabis Coalition (LCC) welcomes its newest member, Fluence, to the team. Fluence is a global provider of energy-efficient LED lighting solutions for controlled environment cannabis and food production and known for pioneering lighting applications and research in the legal commercialization of cannabis. The company has installed fixtures across over 55 hectares of cannabis canopy and enabled hundreds of growers to grow consistent, quality cannabis and increase their yields.

Fluence has a footprint across 95% of the legal countries worldwide, and its dedicated team of in-house cannabis experts approach customer projects comprehensively to ensure the cultivation and financial goals of its growers are realized. Fluence conducts proprietary photobiology and applied scientific research that its horticulture experts use in tandem with local market knowledge throughout on-site guidance and consulting for partners and growers.

Trusted partners
The legal European cannabis industry is still young compared to its North American counterparts. As more operations pop up in Germany, Portugal, Israel, the Netherlands, and elsewhere in Europe, cultivators will demand partners who do more than sell products. They need proven advisers, like Fluence, with the right combination of cultivation experience, market-specific knowledge, and practical scientific expertise that help them produce the highest-quality cannabis and ultimately grow top-line revenue.

"The most effective way to help cultivators perfect their operational strategies and deliver the highest-quality products is through close collaboration and contact, that is, by being in the growers' greenhouses or indoor farms," said Timo Bongartz, general manager for EMEA at Fluence. "We are thrilled to join the Legal Cannabis Coalition and to share our science-led expertise with members, learn from a knowledgeable and involved community, and encourage cultivator success by helping the world grow smarter."

What is the Legal Cannabis Coalition (LCC)?
LCC is the Netherlands' knowledge center for the development of legal cannabis. In collaboration with additional partners specialized in lab research, product development, and clinical trials, the LCC offers its combined experiences, services, and products to the medicinal cannabis industry. Partnering in the LCC are well-known companies: Grodan, VEK, Havecon, Hoogendoorn, Koppert Biological Systems, Royal Brinkman, Thar Process, Brightlabs, Cannabis Drying, Delphy, and Campaigns&Results.

The Legal Cannabis Coalition aims to be a one-stop shop for a wide range of industry challenges. They help their clients by using all the lessons their members collectively learned over the years from their involvement in setting up and equipping greenhouses, improving plant productivity, GMP & compliance, product development, and lab and market research to assist growers worldwide with the transformation of their existing crops to cannabis and support the global legalization of medicinal cannabis. The goal of the LCC and its members is to expand this reach even further based on science and proven solutions.
