What do you do when you notice that, as a fitter, you are increasingly asked whether you also rent out your machines? You run with it, of course.
"We saw that there was a great need for renting work equipment but that the supply in this area was quite small." This is how Rimini Rental came about.
"About 25 years ago, we bought our first machine, and soon more followed. Over the last 10 years, we have bought up several machines from companies that stopped using them. Recently, early this year, we bought some more tracked machines and some tube rail carts for various widths and heights."
Demand for the rental machines is high, both at home and abroad. "In recent years, more and more companies and insurance companies know how to find us when there are damages. And more and more installers who already rent various machines from us now also rent other equipment, such as fences, lighting stages, diesel tanks, or a generator. From our location in Westland, we can deliver our machines to anywhere you want."
The biggest demand is currently focused on the tracked machines with slewing rings and pipe rail carts. The rental company certainly expects to further expand the machinery fleet. "If we notice that we are going to run short of machines, we will buy them. And we will remain alert when machines come up for sale somewhere."
"Finally, the question that has to be asked; why did you name a machine rental company after a sunny place in Italy? The answer to that turns out to be a bit different than expected. The company is actually named after us, the three owners, Richard, Michel, and Nico."
