Cannabis producer TerrAscend has started trading on the Toronto Stock Exchange.
The company’s shares debuted on the Canadian exchange on July 4 under the symbol TSND.
Mississauga-based TerrAscend is aiming to raise $20 million from the share sale, which it will use for ongoing expenses, it said recently.
Just prior to its TSX listing, TerrAscend announced it had purchased medical cannabis dispensary Herbiculture Inc, which operates a 3,100-square-foot facility in Maryland, for US$8.25 million.
Maryland’s recreational cannabis market came into effect on July 1, 2023. Herbiculture will become TerrAscend’s fourth dispensary in the state.
