Massachusetts-based cannabis transporter looks to expand into Connecticut

A Massachusetts-based cannabis transport company hopes to move into Manchester after the town approved local zoning regulations allowing for the business.

The town has regularly welcomed new businesses in the recreational cannabis market, with dispensaries Curaleaf and Fine Fettle already up and running and Ayr Wellness looking to open up another on Spencer Street. Last year, Green Coach Delivery began bringing products from the local Fine Fettle store to customers' doors in Manchester and beyond.

The town is not yet home to any cannabis cultivators or micro-cultivators, though neighbors like East Hartford have welcomed such facilities.

MMM Transport LLC hopes to diversify Manchester's portfolio of cannabis-related businesses with its transportation business, which would deliver products from cultivators or manufacturers to retail stores. The proposed business does not yet have an address.
