Today, ICBC Berlin kicked off. And with perfect timing: a cannabis exhibition in Germany only 2 weeks after the first phase of German legalization took effect. As a result, there is a noticeable positive energy at this year's event. As one of the main cannabis exhibitions in Europe, many people are coming over to discuss the exciting developments in the industry. The show may be a bit smaller this year, with only 1 hall of exhibitors instead of the 2 halls last year, but there are still over 100 exhibitors ready for two days of networking.

There are still lots of questions about what Germany's legalization is going to bring for the future of the industry. How are the cannabis clubs going to work not much is known yet about Pillar 2, the commercial supply chain pilot. But we're staying positive: the German medical market is expected to grow, the move is expected to increase investors' interest in the European cannabis market, and other European countries may follow Germany's lead. As one exhibitor mentioned: "The current positivity and excitement reminds me of the industry from years ago."
