In 2004 Metrolina brought to North America the MX greenhouse - the first greenhouse in the industry to provide a fully open glass roof (other covering options soon became available) providing superior ventilation/cooling along with high light transmission. "The MX Greenhouses provided excellent air movement to harden off plants in a way that no other sealed greenhouse was providing", says Jacco van Delden with Rovero. " When weather permitted growers had all the benefits of growing outdoors with the ability to automatically close the roofs in a minute or two when required."
He adds not much has changed since then - untill now. "We've introduced Rovero's HortiHouse and the Rollair Retractable Roof Sealed Greenhouse in North America." An open house will be at Mark Foertmeyer's Greenhouse in Delaware, Ohio, and Mark will share his experience with his new 4-acre Rovero structures; HortiHouse and Rollair. "Both are real Game Changers for our industry" Jacco adds.
Along with these truly innovative houses, Mark will share information about his other innovative technologies such as his Damatex controls, ErfGoed flood floors, and Biotherm heating system. Manufacturers will be on-site, to assist with any questions you may have.
